Your fingerprints and information are submitted for your FBI Identity History Summary, commonly known as an FBI Background Check.
The FBI will issue your official background check after processing your fingerprints.
Once your FBI Background Check has been issued, we prepare and coordinate the next government submission.
Your document is submitted for a U.S. Department of State Apostille.
The apostille authenticates your federal document for use in Colombia and other countries that recognize Hague Apostilles.
Once the apostille is completed, we coordinate the shipment of your final documents from the United States back to Colombia.
We continue managing your case until your completed apostilled FBI Background Check is received.
Estimated processing time: approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
FBI Background Checks and apostilles may be completed faster or may take longer, depending on current government processing times.
We do everything possible to move your application through each step as quickly as possible. However, government processing times are outside of our control.
