What’s the cost?
Government Fees:
- $54 USD – Application Study Fee (Paid after application is submitted)
- $177 USD – Visa Issuance Fee (To be paid only if approved)
- 323.000 COP approx – Cédula de ExtranjerÃa Fee (To be paid only if approved)
Government fees are are not included in our service fee and must be paid in addition, directly by the applicant to the government and are subject to change. You will be informed of any updates before payment of government fees. Please note that Government Fees are subject to change without notice and we are unable to guarantee the cost of the fees. Government Fees are excluded from our Service Guarantee
The Process
- Education Enrollment – Enroll in an accredited educational institution and obtain the certificate of acceptance, along with documentation confirming the institution’s legal representation
- Documents & Our Service Fee – Complete our document form and payment for your service fee
- Submission – We prepare and submit your application to the government (1–2 days)
- Application Fee Payment – Process your Application fee from the government payment link provided (your timing)
- Review – Government processing (3–4 weeks)
- Additional Documents – Every application is different, if additional documents are required, we will notify you (optional)
- Completion Status – Visa Status is provided, Approved, Denied or Rejected. If Approved, you will need to pay the Visa Issuance Fee
- Cedula Process – If your visa is for longer than 6 months, we will create an appointment and complete your Cedula form. You will need to attend the appointment for photo and registration, and pay the Cedula Issuance Fee, once completed within a few weeks, you will have your Cedula in your hands.
The Requirements
- Valid passport (6+ months)
- Digital photo (3×4 cm, white background)
- Proof of funds: last 6 months of bank statements
- Minimum required: 17.509.050 COP (10x SMMLV)
- Entry stamp, extension, or previous visa
- Certificate of admission (with duration and payment)
- Certificate of existence and legal representation (educational institution)
- Motivation letter (Tell the government why you want to study Spanish)
- Travel insurance (valid for full stay, covering medical, death and repatriation of remains)
Background Checks
- US Citizens require a FBI Background Check and citizens of other countries may be required for a similar background check.
Our Service Fee Guarantee
We believe in standing with our service. To ensure we do the best job, we only get paid if your visa is approved! If your visa is denied or rejected, we refund 100% of our service fee, no questions asked. Government fees are non-refundable and not included in our Service Guarantee.
